If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.

The MPhil In Innovation, Strategy and Organisations (MPhil ISO)  is a research-oriented master, it is not a professional practice programme.  

Selection Process

Applications will be considered by the MPhil ISO admissions committee in chronological order between December 2024 and the end of April 2025 (normally within 12 weeks following the submission of their completed application and required supporting documents).

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an online interview, normally via a video-conference call such as Teams or Zoom.

Things You'll Need

In order to apply for this course you'll need to think about getting a few things ready before you apply.

  • Evidence of competence in English

  • Reasons for Applying (2500 characters) (mandatory)
    Please provide a personal statement outlining the reasons why you are applying for this particular programme. We recommend a maximum of 250 words for this statement (note that there is a 2,500 character limit set up for this field).
  • Statement of research interest
    A description of your research interests and, if known, a plan for the research you intend to conduct during the course of the MPhil ISO studies. We recommend a maximum of 800 words for this research interest statement (note that there is a 5,000 character limit set up for this field).

Gates °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Scholarships

If you wish to be considered for a Gates °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Scholarship you will also need to provide the following:

  • Gates °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï Reference  
  • Research Proposal (PhD applicants only)

How to Find a Supervisor

Applicants do not need to contact faculty as potential research supervisors. A dissertation supervisor will be allocated by the department, during the first term of study.
