Apply using the Applicant Portal
The Apply Now button on the right will take you to the Applicant Portal. There, you can create and submit your application and supporting documents, and you can also request your references.
An application is only complete when:
- you have submitted your application and supporting documents via the Applicant Portal
- you have paid the application fee if applicable. For further information on application fees, and which courses require an application fee, see here.
- your referees have provided their references.
If you miss the deadlines specified in this section, you will not be able to submit your application.

This course is only open to students who have completed the PGCE at the Faculty of Education.
PGCEM applicants are NOT required to submit transcripts or references.

Selection Process
Applications are considered in three batches; firstly after the 3rd December and then after the 25th February and finally the application deadline of 13th May.
It is possible that some applications from the early batches are held for consideration in further batches. This route may fill up well ahead of the advertised closing date. You are advised to apply by the December deadline if possible. We aim to make decisions on applications within 12 weeks of the applicable application batch deadline.
Applicants based overseas and/or who are planning to be based overseas during their studies for this course will be invited to an interview as part of the selection process to ensure they appreciate the attendance requirements of the course.

How to Find a Supervisor
