There are many funding opportunities at °Ç¸ç³Ô¹Ï from a wide variety of sources. A high proportion of our PhD students are funded by the wide range of awards organised through the ambridge Trust, for which you will need to complete the relevant box on the application form to apply.

All students must normally undertake 12–18 months' ethnographic fieldwork during which they may incur additional costs for travel, maintenance and equipment. Students are able to apply to the University Fieldwork Fund for assistance in meeting these additional costs, and will receive guidance about other funding sources for fieldwork.
